Hunter Branch is proud to offer a range of stallion services for sale via Helmsman Auction and thanks the stallion donors for their generosity.
The Auction is NOW OPEN! Bidder registration is also open - please see below for details on how to register. The Auction opened at 9:00am on Friday 2 February 2018 and close at 5:00pm (17:00) on Monday 6th June 2018. Good luck with the bidding, and we wish you the best of luck with your purchase.

This statement will be sent to the potential bidder for their agreement:
“I understand that the Helmsman Auction will be conducted under the Rules and Regulations as outlined (which are available on public display). I undertake to complete a Mare Agreement and pay for the stallion service, should I be the successful bidder, on the completion of the auction.”

You will then be issued a bidder number by Hunter Branch ASHS.
When Bidding, you will need to include:
Stallion Name
Stallion Lot Number
Amount of the Bid
Bidder Number

- Bids begin at half the price of the advertised service fee. See list above.
- Bid increments may vary with a minimum bid increment of $50.00. There is no upper limit on the size of the bid.
- Bids will be accepted in the appropriate format only.
- Email bids will be accepted from the originally registered email address only. Only 1 email address can be registered per bidder. This is for bidder security purposes and is one of the ways Hunter Branch will confirm a legitimate bid.
- Bids will be updated on the Hunter Branch website - be sure to check the website to ensure that your bid is at least $50 higher than the bid on record.
- Bids will be updated on a regular basis - neither the Hunter Branch nor the stallion owner can accept responsibility for equipment failure.
- Bids will remain open until 5pm (AEST) on 6th June 2018. If a bid has been registered in the last 2 minutes for a particular service, an auction time extension of two minutes will continue for all lots. Any further bids will also extend the auction time for another two minutes until no bid has been received for any service. If the selling time extends to beyond 30 minutes, the extension time may be shortened to 30 seconds to speed up the conclusion of the Auction. The Auction will conclude when no further bids have been received within the allotted time. The winner is the bidder registering the highest bid for that service at the conclusion of the Auction.
